Shipping policy

 

UK

Unless stated on the product description, orders take 1-2 days to dispatch. Usually, orders are dispatched by the next working day. We are usually able to accommodate next day delivery, so if an item is needed by a certain date do reach out to us via email (hello@idah.uk)or Instagram (@HerNameWasIdah). Please see checkout pages for available shipping methods.

 

INTERNATIONAL

Shipping times quoted are estimates. International customs procedures may apply which can cause delays beyond original delivery estimates. Customs clearance charges are payable by the customer, Idáh has no oversight or control over these and will not be liable to pay them on your behalf. If you have special shipping enquiries, please send an email to hello@idah.uk before placing your order.

 

How long do your items take to dispatch?

Unless indicated on the product description, our stock items are available for up to 2 business days dispatch, these are items that are produced on a limited stock run model and are available on a ready-to-wear basis. Customs can take a few weeks to dispatch, dependent on our availability and the status of our current production. Please check the items description for if the piece has an extend dispatch time on, or is a pre-order, as the timeframe of this will be noted in the respective product descriptions. 

 

My order contains a stock piece and a pre-order piece, when will it ship?

If your order contains a stock piece and a pre-order piece together in the same order, your order will ship when the pre-order is dispatched. If you would like your the stock pieces in your order to ship sooner and not have to wait for the preorder, please place a separate order for the pre-order items, and the stock items have in their own order. This is because with all of our international parcels, we don't carry over all of the shipping costs to the customers, so on every order we loose money on shipping. This works for us for each individual order, however we cannot split up multiple shipments when only one shipping fee is covered in an order. 

 

Can I get my order sooner?

If you need an order before the quoted dispatch date, please send us an email as soon as possible. On certain occasions we can accommodate urgent delivery requests, on a case-by-case basis. For special requests, please reach out to hello@idah.uk. During busy periods, as we are a small team, this may not always be possible. 

 

Returns

We offer returns for either store credit, a refund in the original form of payment, or an exchange for a different size or colour. If you would like to return or exchange an item purchased through our website, please send an email to hello@idah.uk within 14 days of delivery. Items must be returned in new & unused condition, with all original packaging and tags attached. Returns on our lingerie are taken on a case by case basis, as due to hygiene reasons we cannot resell the lingerie pieces that have been returned to us. We cannot refund or take returns on clothing that has been worn or used. We do not accept returns that have been worn for press and styling purposes including photoshoots. Initial shipping charges cannot be refunded. Idáh reserves the right to refuse any returns which do not meet our return policy requirements or are returned without written approval. We have an inspection process in place to ensure our return policy is not abused, so please take the utmost care when handling the garments. If the garment shows any signs of wear including makeup or any other stains, perfumes, or any other signs of wear, we reserve the right to reject the return. Delicate fabrics such as silk may snag on jewellery when handling, so please take the utmost care when handling.

 

We do not provide shipping labels for returns or exchanges the products to Idáh. Idáh is not responsible for lost and/or stolen return packages. Please send your return using a tracked a prepaid service once your return is accepted. If you are returning your parcel internationally, please ensure you mark your product as a return to avoid any customs charges. 

 

Parcels returned to sender
Orders refused or deemed undeliverable may be returned to our studio, however we have no control over this. Customers who still want to receive the package must pay for a new shipping label if the order has been returned.

Requesting a return or exchange
We offer returns for a refund in the original form of payment or an exchange for a different size or colour. To return an item please do so by reaching out to hello@idah.uk with all your order details as well as your reason for returning. All customs and sale items are non-returnable, final sale. We operate on a 14 day return policy.

 

Duties & Taxes

International parcels may be subject to local duties and taxes. It is the responsibility of the receiver to pay for this charge, Idáh has no control over this and will not pay for the import fees that may apply. We can of course advise and assist where possible, so please do reach out if there is a concern your order may be due duty fees so we can help out. Orders to the US under $1000 have no duty fees, and if your order is more than this claimed value, we can assist in separating your order. 

 

Do you do gift wrapping?

All of our parcels are beautifully packaged in tissue and ribbon. If you would like us to include a gift note or have any other requests, send us an email at hello@idah.uk.
