General Return Information
We have a 14 day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to post your return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase, and your item must not be a made-to-order piece or a part of a hand beaded pre-order as these are beaded to preorder.
To start a return, you can contact us at hello@idah.uk. If your return is accepted, you will need to post the return using a tracked and signed for delivery service. We will provide instructions on how and where to send your package once your return is requested. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted, neither will items that are lost in transit or damaged in transit. We cannot accept parcels that have a "fee to pay". We are not liable for customers return duties, so please ensure your parcels are clearly marked and declared as returns for customs purposes. Parcels with fees will not be deliverable, and will be returned to sender.
Custom styles and studio samples are are strictly refundable for store credit, or for exchanges. Some however, are final sale. This is due to the selected styles being produced on a wholly made-to-order basis. If you would like to enquire about a particular piece, please reach out to us before ordering, as we cannot amend our policies after this.
You can always contact us for any return query at hello@idah.uk. Late delivery or a delay in preorders does not change our policy.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards, beaded to order, or made to order pieces. Studio Samples are final sale, or returnable for store credit, or exchanges. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your return. Returns on our lingerie are taken on a case by case basis, as due to hygiene reasons we cannot resell the lingerie pieces that have been returned to us. We have a 14 day return policy, please do give us time to get back to return requests, as we are a small team.
Exchanges
There are 2 ways to ensure you get piece and size you want is to return the item you have, the first is to return your original piece, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. The second is to request an exchange, and wait for us to recieve your return and dispatch your exchanged piece/size.
Refunds
If approved, after we’ve received and inspected your return, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. Late delivery does not change our policy. If delivery costs were covered by us, the initial shipment discount will be removed from the refundable total.
Sales, Discounts and Other:
We offer £23/$30 off your order, when you tag us in a photo/video of your piece on Instagram/Tiktok (@HerNameWasIdah). To redeem this, email us at hello@idah.uk with a link to where the piece is shared, and we'll issue a the £23/$30 refund to your original payment method.
We also store many of our samples, or pieces that have been worn for shoots, or second hand pieces that we sometimes have available at a discounted rate. If a piece is a bit out of your price range and you are interested in a sample or second hand piece, please email hello@idah.uk with the size, style, and colour for us to check stock. These would be final sale.
